What thermography is

Thermography is a non-contact testing technique that uses infrared cameras to measure temperature and produce thermal images. It reveals heat patterns that are invisible to the eye, without touching the equipment or interrupting operations.

Machinery and electrical components almost always generate excess heat before they fail. A loose termination, an unbalanced phase, a bearing starting to dry out — each one warms up first. Thermography catches that stage, which is the cheapest possible moment to act.

The survey is carried out while your systems run normally. That is not a convenience, it is a requirement: an unloaded circuit shows no fault.
